A decisive “Yes" for Lexington: Residents pass LHS debt exclusion in pivotal vote Monday

The vote passed with about 62 percent support. Voter turnout was up compared to recent town elections, too. Next, the project team will finish designing and draw up a new cost estimate.

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for most of Southern New England except the Berkshires. Heat impacts are expected Sunday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon. Heat index values will be near 100 degrees Sunday and rise to around 105-110 degrees Monday and Tuesday.
