This is how things look in the Race to Dubai after the week in India. Chacarra is playing one more event than Rory the rest of the way. The lead is not insurmountable but no one is playing better than Eugenio.
I’m an idiot. Had a scheduled tweet from last night & I was looking at the wrong scorecard and round. Let’s try this again.
Rory *finished* his 4th round earlier this morning. Looks like Chacarra is going to win so Rory will be roughly 900 points behind in the standings.
It’s been a rough morning for Rory McIlroy. After finishing his 2nd round at with a 68 he began his 3rd shortly after.
Shot a 39 on the front after a double bogey on the 6th hole. He holed out from the bunker on 14 for eagle not too long ago. He sits -4 for the week & T40

Rory only got 4 holes in today because of the rain delay yesterday. There will be a lot of golf played this weekend.
He sits 4 back of the lead
Rory McIlroy was able to finish his first round in New Delhi but didn’t get much out of it.
5 straight pars after the restart but a solid day nonetheless. T13 after 18 holes of golf.

Speaking at the @Bloomberg New Economy Forum in New Delhi, Rory says that LIV had "half of a good idea" and explains what he had to lose in the process (which led to him -- and Tiger -- being so against it). Says he would personally vote to allow LIV players back on the PGA Tour.
Haven’t seen a single reaction to this from the pro side but this is my prediction on how they’re going to respond:
1. This is apart of the bigger plan. You just don’t get it you stupid idiot.
2. Why do you always talk about LIV? If it wasn’t for LIV you would be irrelevant
3. You think you speak for all golf fans and you don’t
Exclusive: A significant number of LIV Golf players are in advanced talks over an exit plan that will guarantee them starts on the DP World Tour, on the condition they don't sign up to the relaunched league.

Rahm won 4 times the season prior to leaving for LIV. Arguably the best player in the world next to Scottie. It’s a matter of fact his play declined once he left. Wasted 3 years of his prime for money that “won’t change his life”
