Seattle is just built for the big occasion. @SoundersFC put on a show for 69,000, just a shame things got #Messi at the end #SEAvMIA
Miami are a bag of creaking (but brilliant) bones. Happy to let Seattle play from back - @SoundersFC exposing them when playing at pace, pressing as a unit and getting wide to deliver service to DeRosario. His goal a must after a couple of early glaring misses. #SEAvMIA
‘When football was better’ 😂 @dcfcfans I’d give a few quid to hear how Graham Richards called this one ..
So did I ever tell you about the time I accidentally hosted an Oscar-winning actor in a 10 by 10ft pen in a temporary #Olympic stadium on the edge of a dodgy favela in Rio?

Great to catch up with Seattle soccer royalty today. My old @SoundersFC broadcast colleague @coachfewing whose camps I’m glad to say are still going strong. Loving the England top too 😎

Enjoying the change of scenery and office view in the new job! Also bought a kettle and some British teabags, so feeling right at home 😂

I’ve often been asked ‘what was your favorite sporting interview?’ Having switched careers recently it got me thinking. And of all the athletes I’ve been lucky to meet, it might surprise you who came out on top..

Thrilled to share that our show (#SEAKraken Pregame on @ROOTSPORTS_NW) won a 3rd straight @natasnw Emmy Award for Live Sports Program!
A massive thank you to those who help make it happen: the ROOT production crew & our fantastic freelance staff (many of whom are pictured below)
My fave part of that screen test was when the exec producer came storming in to the studio as if about to give you a dressing down.. and then was totally speechless cos you absolutely nailed it. You’re the best. And yes margaritas, but only one.. 😉
Some personal news - I’ve begun a new gig in executive recruiting at HerdFreedHartz in Seattle. A great new challenge and I get to work with an exceptional team of people at the top of their game. I wrote about it here.. herdfreedhartz.com/why-i-joi…
