After 5 straight punts to open the game, two plays change everything. Conlan Panther’s pass is deflected at the LOS and intercepted. Next play is a North 25-yd rushing TD. 7-0, Wildcats, 1:57 1Q

Week 9 of the regular season is, in essence, a playoff game for North Scott. Win, and they’re into the official Round of 16 next week. Lose, and the season ends tonight. Kickoff in 30 minutes. Can’t wait to get going.

I hear there is a big football game tonight between North Scott and Davenport North. It looks like Mediacom Local (formerly MC22) will be broadcasting the game. Anyone with an existing Mediacom subscription can watch for free: mediacomlocal.vhx.tv/high-sc…

SET 1 CRK - 9 NS - 3 Three NS service errors thru 12 points is really hurting. But NS is getting off plenty of swings.

Greetings from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School for a volleyball regional semifinal between the Lancers and Cougars. North Scott won in late August. Two very different teams now. Winner to next Tuesday’s final at Ankeny. Follow along for updates.
