Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions – rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking concrete steps to make sure all students at Harvard can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope other institutions follow suit.

Trump: “We’re going to be a tariff nation. It’s not going to be a cost to you; it’s going to be a cost to another country.”
Fact check: false. Tariffs are paid by US companies importing products. These companies then pass the costs on to the consumers

🚨🚨🚨MAJOR BREAKING: A defiant Letitia James exits the courthouse after delivering her closing arguments in Donald Trump’s $370 million fraud trial:
Her remarks were 🔥🔥🔥
Here’s the best part 👇
“This is our last day in our case against Donald Trump for persistent and repeated fraud, illegality.
This case has never been about politics or personal vendetta — or about name calling. This case is about the facts and the law…
…and Mr. Donald Trump violated the law….
We have produced evidence about the scope, the scale, the depth, the breadth of the illegality, the fraud, that personally enriched Donald Trump and his family ... I trust justice will be done.”
What are your thoughts? Has Donald Trump met his match in AG Letitia James?

Not only is this a really good agreement, it's super inspiring. What a balm in these challenging political times to see leaders coming together on environment, to ensure a better future for wildlife, nature and people. Congratulations to all involved. Bravo.
WWF-Canada 👏 the federal & BC govts & First Nations Leadership Council for negotiating an ambitious, impactful & much-needed billion-dollar Nature Agreement that reflects the urgency of this moment, following a record-breaking climate-fueled fire season. youtube.com/watch?v=EhldgNwK…

This happens every single storm. It’s only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt if not killed. The only reason that hasn’t happened yet is luck. I’m sure the majority of contractors do a good job securing their sites but I’d like to see some stepped up enforcement on those that don’t.
