This bloke turned up at my house today, said he'd scratched something on my door yesterday. Told him to bugger off. Not having him and his mates eating all my cakes! #gandalf #lordoftherings #thehobbit #wales

On 2 September 1973 J.R.R. #Tolkien died aged 81. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings is the best-selling book of the 20th Century, and is joined by seminal works The Hobbit and The Silmarillion. He may have died 50 years ago but his influence and legacy lives on in us all. Namárië.

Me, 13 months old, drawn by my mum. Last week we said goodbye to our perfect mum. There’s a hole left that can never be filled and a part of all of us will always feel empty. We were blessed to be part of her life and she made us complete x

I really enjoyed the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit concert yesterday in Helsinki. @BrophyJed is always great fun, @RoydTolkien is just charming and the beloved music took us back to the Middle-Earth. Thank you 😍 #LotrConcert #LotrandHobbitConcert #LordoftheRingsConcert – at Helsinki, Finland
