Spent a bit of time looking at Mahmood’s announcement yesterday. Clear that even with the care concession it’s one of the toughest announcements on settlement by a Home Secretary for decades. Far stronger than anything the Tories implemented, or Braverman or Jenrick advocated at the time.
But it reflects on how you view Reform that you and they don’t care about violence against women and girls.

They weren’t Parliamentary seats were they? Some localised support for Reform but in the big picture they aren’t doing so well. Not rocket science!
The other 2 Parliamentary by- elections show Farage holding his seat (with no proper opposition) & Labour holding Starmer’s.

That’s not a clash. Intelligent politicians are allowed a range of views. Right now they are both delivering on the Labour manifesto!

Not in his own constituency though! Where Reform failed to win 2 Council seats last night despite him canvassing for them.

Doesn’t look like a problem to me. Nobody is proposing it happens now. Burnham says he would like to see it “in his lifetime” not now or even in the next Parliament. John Healey doesn’t expect to see it in his lifetime. Neither has expectation for it to happen in next 20 years.
