Acid Rap turns 10 in a few days. Unbelievable. A quick story of @DJ_RTC 1st meeting @chancetherapper courtesy of @timlarew. That blog era was a wonderful thing… also shout out @fakeshoredrive. #tbt
“My man @ActionBronson said he’s ready to come out here and do a couple of rap songs.” - @HustleSimmons.
Action’s 1st ever Chicago show 11/12/11 at Digital Freshness… this was electric. We recorded a few @ClosedSessions joints that weekend.

as the blog era talk continues, just want to bring this back to the top. leaving @RubyHornet out of the discussions is missing a large part of the story.

I think it’s safe to say that most Hip Hop excursions start out of passion and love for the art before any money changes hands. Give us a pound if you’ve paid dues and now ready to receive.

If any young writers want the keys to rubyhornet, let me know. Looking for the next generation to keep the spirit alive. This site gave me so much, I want to give it to someone else - @DJ_RTC

Another classic blog era moment. I need to get @RubyHornet going again. Any young writers want to just have at it?
January 18, 2011. @FreddieGibbs headlining the Metro and spits this crazy acapella. It would later become his verse on "Scottie Pippen" an essential Blog Era hit and a @RubyHornet favorite. That RH Vimeo has some gems. Some motherf*cking gems. Enjoy this one. So dope.
“Half my team’s from Rome, other from Pompei, short trips from spring chicken to entree, write from the top of the bottom like Dante… Guess I had to learn gravity the hard way.”
