I stayed in touch with a British doctor volunteering in one of Gaza's few functioning hospitals. He sent me clips of his time at al-Aqsa Hospital - and I caught up with him when he came back to the UK. You can watch our report for @BBCNews here: (1/2) @maynard_nick

A UN enquiry has concluded in a harrowing report released today that Israel is committing #genocide in #Gaza by deliberately targeting children, adding to overwhelming evidence of systematic attacks on journalists and medical staff. The findings are compelling — a British doctor, Nizam Mamode, recently returned from Gaza corroborates the conclusion, stressing the importance of medical eyewitnesses given Israel’s killing of Palestinian journalists and banning of foreign press.

Yesterday I caught up with a contact to hear about his time in Gaza this month.
Our conversation came just as the UN inquiry said Israel 'committing genocide in Gaza by deliberately targeting children' - which Israel denies - but I asked Dr Mamode to tell us what he saw himself
