There has been local disquiet about @Hillingdon proposing to put concrete posts outside some houses. This is why: irresponsible and selfish residents driving their cars over pavements cause damage like this broken manhole cover. We will all be paying for dealing with this repair.

When we all receive our increased council tax demands, we will all know that some of our money has gone towards repairs like this. It could have been avoided if the resident concerned had arranged for the proper dropped kerb. The proposed bollards are to protect against this.
