Well new data confirms that only 0.13% of fentanyl seized in the US can be traced to Canada by US law enforcement.
Maybe thatโs why President Trump hasnโt mentioned the dreaded wave of Canadian fentanyl exports to the US for two months.
Because itโs pure fiction.
Instead his target seems to be the Canadian dairy quotas THAT HE AGREED TO in CUSMA, aka โthe biggest and best trade agreement ever!โ (Tariffs that are fully reciprocated by CUSMA provisions that protect US dairy, cotton, sugar, etc.)
But the Blame Canada crowd here are still bleating on about virtually non existent Canadian fentanyl smuggling to the US, while theyโre entirely silent about the massive northward movement of narcotics and drugs from the US to Canada.

BREAKING: The Senate voted 51โ48 to pass a resolution blocking Trumpโs Canadian tariffs from taking effect. Four Republicans โ Sens. Susan Collins, Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul, and Lisa Murkowski โ joined all 47 Democrats in supporting the measure.

For the journalists out there, those numbers are not tariffs. The European Union, e.g., has weighted average tariff rates of ~ 3% and arguably lower on US goods. So they are clearly including VATs and who knows what else?? This false reciprocity is nonsense. For more, see:
