#NYE decorations all set up. The weather 🌧️⛅️ cooperated a bit and will have to prep backyard tomorrow. Wishing you all prosperous 2024! 🎉🍾🕙
Final #comicbook haul of 2023! 📆 📚 Support your local #comics shops. Picked up some first appearance reprints like #XMEN and #Avengers and of course the usual Artgerm variants:
(Almost) Closing out 2023 with a delightful dinner (scallops) at @VibratoJazz Grill and enjoying an outstanding live performance by Greg Adams and East Bay Soul: 🎶🎸🎺
Yikes. Interesting stats from Nintendo Switch Parents app: My 14 year old hasn’t been using his Switch console since early November. 🎮 Guess it’s time for me to cancel the Switch Online service next year too…
Kaare Andrews’ variant #comics cover for the upcoming reprint of #SpiderMan 252 next month, which of course, features the debut of the black costume… 🕸️🕷️
My fancast choices for The Last of Us show, Season 2 (and beyond)? 📺 If it were my decision entirely and considering the time jump in Part 2 - It would have been Chloe Grace Moretz as Abby Anderson and Emma Watson as Ellie Williams…
🌿🔪🔨 #TLoU
Ah, but Emma Watson would’ve been my choice in playing a much older Ellie though… 🌿😩

Available this week, a reprint of New #TeenTitans issue one, which kicked off the landmark 1980s #comics series by Marv Wolfman and George Perez:
Nice! DC Comics will release a facsimile edition of New #TeenTitans issue one from the Wolfman and Perez era later this year. Their memorable time on the title introduced fans to Deathstroke and of course #Nightwing. Available this December:
Meanwhile over at Temu…. 🤣🤖
#RobotsInDisguise #Megatron
Bought a foil #comics variant and wasn’t too pleased. Gave the cover a dull sheen look. Perhaps we’ll see less of this gimmick in 2024? 🤣🤣📚
Oh. Slowing sales for NIKE? Treated myself to a pair of dunks… 🎁
#TreatYourself $NKE
Suzume, The Boy and The Heron - 2023 was quite a year for #anime films globally… 🌎🎬
😳😳 Perhaps some Mission Impossible #comics stories can be adapted over at DC Comics! 📚

Yikes. Let’s hope Shohei Ohtani, Taylor Swift, Oprah, Tim Cook and even Bob Iger buy some more California properties… 💸💸
The wealthiest Californians are leaving in response to the state’s high taxes and soaring cost of living. That’s begun to damage California’s overall economy. And, by cutting into tax revenues, has delivered punishing blows to state and local governments. latimes.com/business/story/2…
