out of the 1,017 submissions, we selected 275 using 3 different tactics.
1. First replies, the first 50 wallets we received were automatically submitted
2. Activity, i like to play favorites and reward my community. if you've been supporting me, and have been an active community member for a while, we added you bc you deserve it.
3. Random, yes i play favorites but i don't want that to stop me from meeting new really cool people. i used my quantum computing registration calendar to select random replies from my original "drop your sui wallets right now" tweet

as Sui started gaining momentum over the past 24 hours, i began seeing paid shills promoting some absolutely ridiculous memecoins.
most of them are coming from accounts with more than 100k followers that have probably never even installed Slush.
do you know what separates memes on Sui and Monad from those on RH, Solana, or BSC?
Sui and Monad have their own cultures. memes are built alongside the community and backed by real lore. some projects have survived for years and continued building throughout the entire bear market.
other ecosystems treat memes like casino chips: KOLs, cabals, and devs make up the 10% who profit, while their followers make up the 90% who become exit liquidity.
the approach to building meme culture is fundamentally different across these ecosystems.
if you’re a promoter or degen, at least have a VALID reason before shilling something to your followers.
