FA ISSUES UPDATE ON GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL We welcome the UK Government’s update today regarding the Covid-19 roadmap for easing lockdown restrictions which means we can look forward to the safe return of grassroots football from 29 March for both adults and children. With this new clarity around timings, we will continue to work with Government on plans for a safe return for grassroots football across England and will communicate updated guidance as soon as we can.

We welcome the Government announcement today regarding the potential resumption of ‘Organised Outdoor Sport' from 29th March. We now await updated guidance for the return of #grassrootsfootball from @FA & will continue to update our members as and when information is available.

We are aware of the Government announcement this evening and the uncertainty this has caused for many. We now await further instruction/guidance from the @FA and @DCMS in the days ahead and will provide our members with any updates as soon as we have them.

🚿 Reminder to clubs responsible for changing facilities. With #COVID19 pausing football, water will be sitting in pipes for some time and it could heighten the risk of Legionnaires disease. If you can, run taps, showers, etc to help reduce the risk #BerksBucksFA
