💚 What a crowd! An absolute pleasure to join with a huge numbers of hardworking and committed Sinn Féin activists as we launch our election campaign launch. The election next May is an opportunity to support the strong leadership of Sinn Féin and show that change in the North is unstoppable. To send a message to those who want to drag us back to the past. To say very clearly that there will be no going back. Together, let’s return the biggest and strongest Sinn Féin team ever in the Assembly!

👏🏻 Massive reception as hundreds pack the Montalto Estate for the launch of Sinn Féin Strangford candidate Chris Hazzard’s election campaign. With new areas coming into Strangford for the first time in the Assembly election next year, Sinn Féin is now in pole position to win a seat. There has never been a Nationalist MLA in Strangford. You can change that next May. You can elect the first Sinn Féin MLA ever in Strangford. You can elect Chris Hazzard. Together, let’s make history in Strangford.

Public sector workers deserve fair pay. Nothing less. The British government is underfunding our public services and treating workers here with contempt. Sinn Féin will keep fighting for the funding needed to deliver the pay rises our workers deserve and improve our public services.

Sinn Féin West Belfast MLA Aisling Reilly has announced she will not be standing in next year’s Assembly election. We wish Aisling all the very best with her upcoming hip operation and her recovery, and look forward to seeing her back out on the ground as soon as possible, working to ensure that Sinn Féin’s West Belfast candidates are successful in the election. Go raibh maith agat, a Aisling. Ádh mór!

I will not tolerate the DUP and the orange order treating the people of the Garvaghy Road as second-class citizens. I have proudly stood in support of the Garvaghy Road community, and I will continue to do so. There can be no unwanted orange march down the Garvaghy Road.

This march is steeped in sectarian violence and murder. 21 people murdered from 1996 to 1999. There can be no unwanted orange march down Garvaghy Road. No Going Back. Not now. Not ever!

As a 'real' resident i have zero interest listening to a woman who has called me and my family Rabble, Thugs and part of a mob whilst standing side by side with Jamie Bryson.
"I am willing, I stand ready, to negotiate or to facilitate any negotiations with the real residents of the Gravaghy Road." DUP MP @carlalockhart tells Sunday Politics she has every sympathy with them as the "are being used by very bad actors."

People here deserve nothing less than to be treated fairly and equally, they are taxpayers too. My department designed and delivered the scheme because once again the North was an afterthought for the British government.
I’m really glad that the UK government is funding this.

On my way to Cardiff for a historic meeting of Sinn Féin, the SNP and Plaid Cymru. For the first time ever, there are three nationalist and pro-independence First Ministers, here in the North, in Scotland and in Wales. This is a time of enormous change and opportunity.
