What’s with Jeff Passan’s obsession with trying to “own” people on Twitter now?
What happened with ethical reporting?
Passan, Schefter, Shams all shells of their former selves 📉
Replying to @SleeperDbacks
Is every Sleeper account run by the same trash merchant or do they clone you all in a special stew of sucktitude?
I never feel good about the Padres losing…
But losing to this Brewers team makes it sting a little less👌
This Brewers team is absolutely unbelievable. Relentless, borderline unbeatable.
I’ve seen some amazing teams in my life.
2020’s Dodgers, 2010’s Giants, ‘04-‘07 Red Sox, etc.
I have NEVER seen a more relentless offensive team than the 2026 Milwaukee Brewers.
Traffic, action, barrels, walks, deep counts. Every. Single. Inning.
If you’re wondering why QB production is way down (College & NFL)
It’s because of stuff like this⬇️
We’re into the “defenses dominate” era, initiated by the Macdonald/Flores defensive systems
The QB’s of the 2000’s *rarely saw looks like this.
Dodgers just don’t look like the Dodgers of 2024/2025
Not sharp at all. Short, uncompetitive ABs.
Sleepwalked into the playoffs, resting all their guys along the way, but still might have ran out of gas tbh.
To this day:
I will never, ever, understand why Ian Kinsler didn’t just put this ball in his back pocket
This ticket better have cost <$10, other wise this is criminal offense by the Rays to sell tickets with this view
It’s amazing how teams play the Dodgers in the postseason & make mistakes they haven’t made all year
They kick/throw the ball around, go extended stretches with no offense, etc.
Just completely fold under the mere presence of “LA” on the other side🤷♂️
Could Joe Davis sound any more disappointed that the Dodgers grounded into a double play here?
Completely unserious that he calls MLB playoff games with this amount of bias🚮
Cooper Kupp was ruled like 1.5 yards short?
And then they reviewed it and stuck with the call??
NFL referees & the replay system among some of the worst in all of sports, right?
The decline of Adam Schefter will studied in journalism schools in the future
Went from top NFL insider to gossip reporter in the span of 1 season
There are doctors around the NFL who believe it's a matter of when, not if, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels hurts his left elbow again.

Lastly:
Need to do something about the lack of anything on offense from Jake Cronenworth and Xander Bogaerts.
Can’t have >both in the lineup.
Those two have been below league average for multiple years and it huuuurts the offense and shortens the lineup substantially. (6/8)
All in season grades:
Pitching:
Rotation 7/10
Bullpen 9/10
Offense:
Stars 4/10
Middle/Bottom Lineup 3/10
Fill-ins 7/10
Pitching carried us, fluked a lot of wins, and got hot in August/September. (7/8)
Big shoutout: Michael King
Carried the rotation, bulldog in the playoffs.
Unfortunately, he will test free agency (as he should) so we may have seen the last of him as a Padre.
If that’s the case, King cemented himself as legend of 2024, 2026 and who knows the future. (4/8)
The offense is always the issue.
Was an issue for most of the season.
Couldn’t score 4 runs more than once in the NLDS.
2024: 24 scoreless
2025: Bad offense all around
2026: Quiet in the playoffs again.
Against the best pitching, the Padres offense folds. (2/8)
