Today's Prayer Dear God, When my patience runs thin or my words come out sharper than I mean them to, help me slow down and make room for Your Spirit to lead. I don’t want to just try harder to be good... I want my life to grow out of time spent with You. Let what flows out of me today reflect Your heart. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22-23) Father, when I feel rushed, stressed, or tempted to react, remind me to stay connected to You. Let my family, coworkers, and strangers experience Your kindness through me. Grow gentleness where I’ve been harsh and faithfulness where I’ve been inconsistent, so people see You in me.
