When SpaceX and Tesla merge (hopefully shareholders do the smart thing), I expect Elon and the team to make tiny homes equipped with: - Solar panels - Powerwall - Starlink - Oversized heat pump already used in Tesla vehicles - Water purification There is no better company in the world at manufacturing large objects at scale than SpaceX-Tesla.

Humans are a pack animal. This may be hard to understand if you are evangelical and think the book of genesis is literal rather than allegorical, but humans are a pack animal. What this means is that the human desire for the acceptance and support of a tribe is as fundamental as the desire for food, for air, for water, for sex, for sunlight, for love. If you tell young men that they cannot have a tribe, they're not going to accept that. Ever. Especially if you tell that only to the young men of one tribe in particular. They're going to wonder why everybody gets to have a tribe and they don't. And they're eventually going to decide that you are the enemy. Because you are. Anyone who stands between young men and what they need for a healthy, fulfilled life is their enemy. That includes you. And if you manage to convince them that god doesn't want them to have a tribe, it will also include god. The more you push back against their healthy and natural desire for a tribe, a homeland, and a birthright, the more they will hate you, and the more exclusive their definition of that tribe will become. There is no way you can stop this. The only thing you can control is how far they have to go, how radical they have to become, in order to get it. Because this can go all the way from enforcing immigration law, and shutting down corrupt visa programs right now, to gangs of young White men in balaclavas with Ar15s going door to door ten years from now. We have to do something about the 14th amendment. I don't care if that makes you uncomfortable or unhappy. It's not a choice. The constitution exists to serve Americans, not the other way around. If that sentence confuses you, read the first paragraph of the constitution. If we do not, young men of the future, the same little boys who are being radicalized right now by your malicious indifference, will treat a piece of paper that says they cannot have a homeland the way they would treat a piece of paper that says that can't eat food, or a piece of paper that says they can't own a home, or have a wife and children. You may think that you offer them a tribe in the form of the universal kingdom of god, the community of all believers, but that's just a word game and you know it, which is why you are so defensive about the whole thing. Where was the universal community of believers when these young men needed help? When they needed not just the surface appearance of a tribe, but someone to do the things that tribes actually do for younger generations they care about? The pack serves a concrete set of functions in the life cycle of the human species, and you cannot perform those functions with a cardboard cutout. Young men are sick of religion that offers them responsibilities with no rights, lectures with no help, demands with no love or empathy. It's odd, in a way ironic, that, I, the man of zero faith, should have to be the one standing here telling self-styled religious leaders how they failed both their people and their god. But having no faith does give me one advantage. It frees me from the delusion that Jesus is a puppet that I can pull out of my pocket, slip over my right hand, move his mouth and make him say what I want. I used to wonder, as a child, what the phrase "taking the name of the lord in vain" actually meant. But I no longer wonder, because when I became a man, I looked around me and saw all these people who talk to god and somehow get told exactly what they want to hear. Then I understood that the key phrase here wasn't "in vain". It was "taking". Taking the name of god and using it as a tool for one's own goals. Joel, here, is sad that his friend is getting sent home. This personally inconveniences both him and his friend, which effects Joel in a way that young men being denied their birthright does not. So he finds an interpretation of scripture that says that god wants him, Joel Berry, to get his way, and that god wants all the young men who want a homeland and a birthright to go get fucked. I'm not terribly impressed.

I spent years thinking I’d never get married or have kids. Now I come home to my best friend and 4 kids yelling ‘Dad!!’ as they run at me. To me, that is success. Here’s why: Success was always something I had difficulty defining. One individual may measure success by money in the bank. Another may place importance on their professional accolades. And someone else may define it via their material possessions. Each person is optimizing for something different. Eventually, I found a description of success that resonated and became my personal definition. WHOOP founder @willahmed said, “Success is being excited to go to work and being excited to come home.” What a perfect encapsulation of how I view the world. In my perspective, success has never been about a number, an award, or any single accomplishment. Frankly, I like to compete too much to ever admit I have ‘made it,’ so my definition of success is naturally more about the process of my life rather than a specific outcome. A large percentage of people do not enjoy their job. They either dislike their industry, company, or colleagues. They may stay in the situation because the money is attractive or they are scared to leave for the unknown. Regardless of the reason, these individuals are unhappy for a large chunk of their day. Many people are also dissatisfied with their personal lives. Some are single and frustrated that they haven’t found the right partner, while others are married but unhappy because they feel like strangers in their own home. And plenty of people have health or financial issues that are gnawing at them daily. Although I have faced similar daily struggles as others, I have always felt fortunate that I enjoyed going to work and coming home each day. Professionally, I sacrificed my time and short-term potential earnings in order to work on what truly mattered to me. I was able to become my own boss and design a career that was satisfying and exciting. The excitement in my personal life is entirely because of my wife and my kids. Getting married and having children has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. There is nothing better than walking in the door after a long day of work and hearing the sound of little kids yell “Dad!!” as they run towards me to give me a hug. @polinapompliano and I are genuinely each other’s best friend. We enjoy spending the majority of our time together and we feed off each other’s energy and ambition. Maybe most importantly, we are happiest when we talk about ideas and help make each other’s dreams come true. I am just as excited to go to work as I am to come home. I know it is probably rare, but I have achieved all the success I ever wanted. My hope for you is that you can do the same. Keys to an excellent life (32yo logic): 1. Smile, because good things will happen. 2. Do one new thing every day. 3. Become a parent. 4. Quit your corporate job. 5. Use SI every day. 6. Have more kids. 7. Sing. 8. Have grandkids. 9. Smile, because good things happened.

I agree with this. I expect more selling pressure with the future unlocks, but that should be overwhelmed by upside pressure due to these factors:
I think the next 10 trading days (or less) may be the last chance to buy $SPCX SpaceX at a deep discount. Sadly I think most investors will miss this opportunity again. Here’s why. • Fear & Greed at 18. Extreme fear. • FOMC Oct 27–28. Market already pricing a bearish hold-plus-December-hike path. • Midterms Nov 3. Every political unknown clears after that date. • Q3 was a blowout. Revenue up 161%. First quarterly profit since IPO. Superintelligence passed Starlink as the largest segment. • Analysts woke up. JPMorgan doubled its target to $500. BofA to $275. Phillip triple-upgraded to $250. • Price didn’t care. Friday close $147.49. All-time high around $225. • The largest unlock is already behind us. Supply overhang is gone. • Grok Bot Enterprise goes wide in weeks. Elon said enterprise customers are queuing. Internal compute monetized through subscriptions, not rented on the spot market. 10 trading days. Two catalysts. One unlock done. One of the best quarters ever, priced as a disappointment. That’s the window.

Very sad news, but we can choose to carry on one of his favorite messages: "Be good, do good. 😎"
Nick Wray, the 8th person in the world with a Neuralink implant has passed away due to ALS. For the time I knew him, he carried an optimistic energy that helped pick others up. One of his go-to sayings was: "Be good, do good. 😎" In support of his family and friends, we can all choose to live by that message every day. More information can be found in the link in Audrey's post:

I could not agree more. Labor shortages are gonna cripple every industry.
Marc Andreessen says individuals are adopting AI faster than organizations, and startup formation is going to skyrocket as a result: "I think many companies are not adopting AI while their employees are. And their employees are not necessarily telling the management what's happening. I'm gonna guess every single person listening to this podcast right now is thinking, 'Oh yeah, that's what I'm doing.'" "There's something about AI right now where it's much easier for the individual to adopt than it is the institution." "Some of those individuals are gonna figure out... it's now easier than ever for me to start my own business. So I think startup formation is gonna skyrocket from here." @pmarca

"Now" is still the best time. (I have no clue what $SPCX or $TSLA will do for the next year, quarter, month, week, or day, but they're both headed much much higher in the long run).

All this superintelligence/ AI stuff is just the natural progression of eventually getting from raw brain signals -> rendered pixels on the screen (or Optimus actions). Please seriously consider that. Every single AI advancement all along the way is just abstracting steps away until we get to that raw brain signals -> pixels on the screen. Every major tech company is just gonna continue to take steps to do that. n8n was the first hacky way of gluing together steps. Next was OpenClaw. Next was Grok Bot. Eventually, we'll get to Neuralink (and no one will be close to competing with them).

Wow, the evidence is super clear:
33 of the 34 deadliest cities in America have Democrat mayors. Dallas is the only one that doesn’t. New Orleans, Baltimore, Memphis, Detroit, DC, all of them. The national average is 6.3. They own the slaughter.

The worst thing is to be "right" and still not make the money. This happens *a lot*!!
There’s no right or wrong in the stock market, only win or lose. You can be 100% right but missed the biggest upside opportunity. Remember what I said today.

I wonder if Tesla owns any Neuralink. Neuralink, Grok, and Optimus would coordinate together extremely nicely.
Wow!! Another Great Reason to Own $SPCX SpaceX — You Also Own The Boring Company SpaceX’s Q3 10-Q shows it holds an equity stake in The Boring Company. After TBC’s September funding round, SpaceX booked a $561 million unrealized gain on that stake — no cash exchanged, all mark-to-market. Equity method investments went from $101 million at year-end to $653 million. That’s it. That’s the whole story.

The more you build, the more you respect those who build. Those who ship relentlessly deserve way more respect than those who don't. If someone is posting 10 videos/ day that are improving just very very slightly, they deserve way more respect than someone posting a mediocre video every month. But regardless, nowadays the bar is so low that even if you ship one video, it means you had some courage. So kudos to those people as well. When someone ships an app they built, a website, a tool, a product, a service, they are trying to contribute. I have a ton of respect for those who put in real effort and continue to do so for many years. If you never ship anything, what are you doing? Life is so short. You're just gonna sit and consume!? Don't be a taker. Be a maker.
