Without Bruno Fernandes, we wouldn’t be in the UCL right now. Without Bruno Fernandes we’d have been relegated in 24/25.
He turned down generational wealth to stick with this club because he wanted to win HERE.
The fact he stayed means he believed. The fact he believed means he was made to believe. He was spun the same tale and failed the same way we all were this Summer!
Bruno has played at this club for almost SEVEN years and his personal achievements are the kind you find in a player who has won major trophies. Or should have. But not Bruno.
Personally, he has won Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year five times, Premier League Player of the Season, PFA Players Player of The Year and Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year. And he has made history, both for Manchester United and in the Premier League.
But with this team, across these years, all he has to his name is a Carabao Cup and an FA Cup.
And now he’s faced with the reality of aging that all footballers must face, whilst another year of his career is chalked off and he’s surrounded by scrutiny and abuse.
Bruno Fernandes, I don’t blame you for being frustrated and tired. Because I am too.

Can you just hold players back from jumping?
Our team didn’t even complain. Carrick didn’t even bring this up.
So many fouls from Leeds today that went unnoticed. They shouldn’t have finished the game with 11 players.

7 points from 21 and the manager and media are acting like yesterday was a good result....what the Glazers have done to this club and it's standards is criminal.
that's the G right there!
Lisandro Martinez has accepted a fine and apologised for the timing of his comments but has not said sorry to Jason Wilcox himself [@ChrisWheelerDM, @NathSalt1]
messi is a fucking rat.
simple as that.
After watching Atlanta United vs. Inter Miami today, I finally understood why Lionel Messi ran to the MLS.
For a player his fanbase and the football media propaganda machine rate so highly, why leave Europe at 36 when they claim he was still at the peak of his career?
Instead, he moved to the MLS, where he can score against defenders who make defending look like a part-time job, rack up goals, and keep his 1000-goal chase alive.
Watching him score twice today made me question how anyone could seriously rate the MLS above the Saudi Pro League.
Let's be honest, the quality of defending in the MLS is shocking. Yet, some people will go to any length to discredit the Saudi league simply because Cristiano Ronaldo plays there.
If the MLS is genuinely superior, let's see the same energy when comparing the quality of defending in both leagues.

Ronaldo’s biggest mistake was choosing Al Nassr instead of a league like MLS.
If he’d taken Messi’s route, he would have reached 1,000 goals already. Look at the defending in Messi’s brace against Atlanta United. Some of those goals were far too easy.
It genuinely feels like Messi has a much easier environment to chase that milestone, while Ronaldo chose a tougher path in Saudi Arabia. The difference is frustrating.

Man city are about to go 7/7 in their first season without Pep Guardiola, meanwhile we’re still yet to recover from post-fergie era. Glazers and Ineos have genuinely ruined this club

Dropping this kind of performance just a week after losing your son is something only Ronaldo can do man.
The Glazers put in £272m and have taken over £1 billion out of Manchester United.
Glazers bought Manchester United in 2005 for £812m but paid only £272m (33.5%) of the money and loaded £540m (66.5%) as debt onto the club.
United had just £50m debt, but it rose to £604m after the takeover. By 2025, approximately £1.187 billion had left the club between 2005 and 2024 through debt interest (£815m), external debt repayments (£197m), shareholder dividends (£166m) and management fees (£10m).
The Glazers have taken £166m in dividends since the takeover. No club can have £1.187 billion extracted from it and still compete at the top.
If it happens, I'll quit watching Football for life! Seriously. I mean it won't change a thing in the world but I'll be at peace and won't talk football every again. Fuck all the debates and everything.
🚨 𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚:
MANCHESTER CITY ARE WINNING THE APPEAL!!!
Sources claimed that the premier league panel in charge of #ManCity ’s appeal overlooked almost all evidence that sponsorship payments came from the Abu Dhabi government, the shareholder of the sponsors.
The club presented three pillars of evidence around state funding at the hearing, which their lawyers claim were not given sufficient weight in terms of government funding involving sponsorship deals.
Those pillars included contemporaneous documentation/bank statements from the Abu Dhabi government, letters from the government to the hearing confirming accuracy of original records, and witness evidence from club officials, senior figures at sponsors and government officials.
