6 years ago, we created the posters for the original TV show. Back then, I mostly painted and drew by hand, so I asked my digital artist to use a real photo of us and give the poster a Batman inspired vibe and visually show his transformation. Even the text on the poster had a spelling mistake back then, but that didn’t make people any less interested. 😄 Now I’m turning that story into a game. And I brought that idea with me. The original poster became the inspiration for the character portraits in my codec calls, the design 6 years ago that evolved into something completely new. #indiegame #videogame

Before “A Lie Called Justice” was a game, it was a gangster TV series. I had written the story and was preparing to direct it, but unfortunately, the project had to be abandoned after filming the first episode because of health reasons. I never wanted to let the story disappear. So I decided to transform it into a game expanding the world, characters and story in a completely new way. Even the main menu carries a little piece of that history. The image of me was originally used for the TV show’s poster. Now, years later, that same idea lives on inside “A Lie Called Justice” Sometimes a project doesn’t really die. It just changes form. 🎮 A Lie Called Justice (in development) #IndieGame #gamedev

A LIE CALLED JUSTICE is a narrative driven action game inspired by both real life experiences and fiction. You step into the life of a young man whose world has been shattered by events beyond his control. What begins as a deeply personal journey slowly turns into something much bigger. As the story unfolds, pieces of the truth begin to surface. Things that once seemed clear start to become questionable. People you thought you understood may not be who you believed they were. And the deeper you go, the more you begin to question one simple thing: What makes someone a villain? The game explores how circumstances, trauma, and the people around us can shape who we become, and how easily we judge people without knowing the battles they have fought. I want A Lie Called Justice to make players feel something. To recognize human emotions and struggles in a world that is otherwise brutal, violent, and far removed from our own. All of this is combined with hard-hitting action, cinematic storytelling, and a soundtrack and soundscape designed around the events happening on screen. Because A Lie Called Justice isn’t just about playing a game. It’s about experiencing a story. A story about revenge. A story about justice. A story about the truth. And perhaps most importantly… A story about what circumstances can turn us into. I can’t wait to share more of this journey with you all. Very soon, I’ll finally be able to show you the first glimpses of A Lie Called Justice. Thank you for being here and supporting this journey. It truly means the world to me. ❤️ #indiedev #gamedev #indiegame
