🚨 BOATER SAFETY ALERT! 🚨 If you're on the water in Ashtabula, OH, remember there is a submerged stone wall along the inside of the harbor’s East Breakwater. For your safety, stay in the bounds of the federal navigation channel until you're outside the harbor. #WaterSafety

You might not expect dams & diving go together, but they do at NY's Mount Morris Dam! Divers from @USACE_Buffalo went inside to inspect its integrity. It's no easy task, but it is a critical one for flood protection all the way to Rochester & Lake Ontario. youtu.be/9o1tOGTJNl4

We repaired the #Buffalo north breakwater with stone weighing over 14 tons! Even so, there are likely to be more breaches if storms on the #GreatLakes become more frequent and more violent. It's time to invest in our Nation's infrastructure!

I can't wait to see the museum display that says, "Freckles was found in the vast, deep waters of a Red Lobster time-out tank."
But my compliments to the chef. And also, "crustacean firmament" is definitely a winner for phrase-of-the-day, @Robicellis.

It's amazing to think that the U.S. flag could see a design change if this goes through. It's just one element of the impact this change could have. Whether you're for or against it, I challenge you to not be fascinated by this kind of #historyinthemaking!
NEW: The House of Representatives has passed a bill to make Washington, D.C. the 51st state.
It's unclear whether the bill stands a chance at passing the Senate. trib.al/TqoTwDR
