You have to admire the local authorities of the potteries' bold plan for deal with blocked drains: just don't bother and ignore them
Have celtic won a european knockout game recently? None seem to come to mind
"Celtic's history is winning the European Cup. Celtic's history is getting to European finals... Where's that pride gone from Celtic Football Club?"
Success domestically doesn't mean much if you're not competing in Europe, says @JOYPAULIAN 🍀
Didn't you guys say similar in 2004
“If the chairman was sat here he’d say two words…Premier League”
@MKDonsFC CEO Neil Hart on the club’s 5-year-plan with talk of the @SkyBetChamp & @premierleague
Both Milan clubs have 3 each. Juventus have a English centre back who has little chance of breaking into the England squad (imagine saying that in the past, you're a starting juventus cb but not good enough to play for england)
Barca/Real have England starters.

Mad that some foreign teams have more English players than Premier League teams do these day.
Perhaps the premier league being far bigger is an issue but serie a only has itself to blame.
They didn't take the chance late 90s/early 00s to establish themselves even more. As shown by the stadiums being a bit shit. Scandals didn't help
Famous night for Bournemouth, who swamped an awful AC Milan and deserve to enjoy it. But we can’t ignore the elephant splashing around in the room. Report: theguardian.com/football/202…
also Bournemouth and AC Milan broadly finished in the same positions that season.
That's the other thing even by Italian recent lower standards Milan have dropped off. Inter & Juve both made a few CL finals. Napoli have won more titles. Atalanta the Europa League
Stroke of luck for the burglars that he just so happened to be out of the country

Bournemouth vs AC Milan.
A mental fixture made even more mental by the fact AC Milan have more English players starting than Bournemouth
Does this mean we're a bit of a vibes team?
Stoke have the worst xG ratio in the Championship, yet sit 8th in the table. Should their fans be worried?

"But we are Palau, why would we need an embassy in Monaco we're very tiny countries"
'Oh very important diplomatic and trade relations between the two countries. Honest ssshh i'm on the phone turn that music down"
Investment is good but it has to be targeted. Initiatives, Promotion, using facilities etc. Just chucking it at players wages doesn't make any sense. You'll just get an unsustainable sport.
Had crowds not originally turned up at football 130 years ago the clubs would have died.

The 'nobody watches, so you don’t get paid' argument is historically illiterate.
Men's sports didn't spontaneously generate billions of fans; they benefit from over a century of heavily subsidized, uninterrupted investment, promotion, and institutional backing.
Meanwhile, women’s football was literally banned by the FA for 50 years (1921–1971).
We are comparing a heavily nurtured, century-old industry with one that was actively suppressed and only recently got serious investment.
Cultivating a global audience and commercial value takes time.
