Only 7% of Scotland’s firefighters are women. On tonight’s @STVNews, we take a trip to Campbeltown - a fire station that’s bucking the trend, where more than a quarter of the team are female. @fire_scot tell us why they want to recruit more women to work in the service.

On Saturday, March 5 we will host a recruitment information event for women.
As an employer of choice, we want to better represent the communities we serve.

A great night for SCF Community Action Team celebrating Care Day! Engagement with care experienced young people and Fife Council Corporate Parenting Team. Looking forward to future projects together! An opportunity to celebrate the lives and voices of Care Experienced people. 😀
Yesterday evening started with a pit stop at the tasty fry where the server told me far too much about my training teams dietary habits (clearly, i was in for a salad!).
Then onto Tyndrum and Killin to discuss issues on RDS and future recruitment. Good honest conversations!
