Fantastic job by #SCFR crews last night on a very difficult structure. Years of additions to the bldg, even metal roof decking between 1st & 2nd floors, posed significant & dangerous challenges. A lot of overhaul & physical effort to get to this fire. Great job! @staffcofire
We had a mini #PGFD reunion at the @staffcofire Recruit Academy 16 graduation this morning. Great to see old friends and mentors! #SCFR
Thanks to everyone who came out this weekend and helped make our 1st annual 9/11 Stair Climb a success! Looking forward to next year's event! @staffcofire @Tunnel2Towers @FXBGNats #NeverForget
Great weekend for #SCFR as we celebrated the graduation of Recruit Academy 15. After 26 weeks of building a foundation, they're ready to hit the street and begin their probation in the best job ever. Special group! Welcome to the #SCFRfamily! @staffcofire

Thank you to @HFDVA and @NKFireRescue for sending crews to assist @staffcofire with our storm response. It was a crazy few days. What a great group of people! Thank you! @Tobia698
In addition to the best firefighters, EMTs & paramedics, we have some pretty awesome folks behind the scenes (and in front of the camera). @staffcofire
It’s always good to see @FEMA_EMI Advanced #PIO alumni doing their job on local news. @staffcofire PIO Katie Brady demonstrated excellent interview skills on @nbcwashington this evening. #StrongWork Katie. You have a good one Chief @SCFRDChief !!!
Fantastic work by @staffcofire crews on this motel fire early this morning. Sound decision-making and an aggressive attack by 1st engine set the tone, & great command presence by the BC brought it all together for a positive outcome. Great job by all!
#SCFR crews executed a great plan on this one, despite a lot of adversity. Their dedication to training and their compassion for others was clear. So proud to work with all of them! @staffcofire
#SCFR units are on the scene SB Warrenton Rd at Hartwood Rd for a vehicle accident. A flatbed truck carrying a septic tank rear-ended a tractor trailer. Crews are working to free the driver of the flatbed. SB Warrenton Rd @ Hartwood Rd is closed. @SCFRDChief
Couldn't be more proud of #SCFR career & volunteer OPs personnel, EM staff, & CERT for stepping up to help vaccinate our community, from the weekly clinic where we provide 1k shots, to the mobile effort to reach homebound residents. @staffcofire #SCFRservice
Check out the innovative ways our emergency management division and operations personnel are working to vaccinate our community
