Impact can be defined several ways. Some freshmen will have opportunities to contribute immediately because of roster needs, while others are more projectable & will need more time to carve out roles alongside established stars.

The analysis behind the ranking of Darius Wabbington, No. 9 in the SC Next 100, who is heading to Indiana.
Wabbington pairs high-level scoring and playmaking with the size of a power forward.
He’s an ideal point forward, able to score in the paint or face up. As a ball-screen player, he offers three options: roll to the rim, stop for a short-roll playmaking opportunity, or pop out beyond the arc. He can also extend a possession by initiating a dribble handoff.
His greatest strength is his passing and playmaking. He understands how to keep the ball moving, sustain the flow of an offense, and find others.
As his conditioning improves, his athleticism will develop as well.
IU loading up for 2027.
With Chase Brennan, the Hoosiers will have two highly skilled, high-IQ prospects next season.
Plus 7'0" center Felix Kiehlneker, who is mobile, tough around the rim, and has a solid skill set.

The Analysis Behind RJ Moore’s Ranking (No.54 in the SC Next 100) and his Commitment to Rutgers.
@SCNext
First, Moore has a smooth jumper from both deep and mid-range. He shows flashes of scoring prowess.
His best scoring weapon is his rhythm dribble pull up. He is decisive with the length and size at 6’7”.
He has also demonstrated the ability to shoot on the move off the catch. He could be more aggressive when driving to the rim by lowering his body to create leverage. This would add more free-throw attempts. His shooting percentages have been inconsistent, but they should improve with better shot quality and more game-like repetitions.
Moore has the scoring tools and potential to develop into a major wing threat in time and contribute immediately at Rutgers. His father was a defensive star and champion at UConn.
Breaking: RJ Moore, the No. 54 ranked player in the SC Next 100 for the Class of 2027, has committed to Rutgers, he tells ESPN’s @PaulBiancardi.
