January 12, 2017: AG-elect Josh Shapiro publicly announced… ➡️ Jennifer Selber (Chief of the Homicide Unit in the Philly DA’s Office) as his Executive Deputy Attorney General in charge of Shapiro’s Criminal Division. In January 2023, she went to work for AG Shapiro who also hired many others from the same office. Feb. 2025 interview with Tom … Reporter: “Back to Shapiro for a minute, I’ve been very critical of him…why do you say he’s guilty of willful negligence?” Detective Tom Brennan: “For what he didn’t do he should be kicked out of office.” “Josh Shapiro is a good man a good mouth for showing up at airplane crashes and raising money… Reporter: “you think he turned a blind eye”? Tom: “yes because the same people that were in the DA’s office at the time this occurred were the same people in Shapiro’s office when he got the case.” Reporter: “So they were reviewing themselves.” Tom: “Yes. And I’ll never forget what she said to me when I met with her: Jen Selber said; “I’m not trying to protect the Philadelphia police department.” “Imagine that coming from you.” Tom Brennan 💥 January 2026, sources (primarily cited by the Philly Inquirer) said the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of PA issued grand jury subpoenas for documents and information to multiple agencies that handled the Ellen Greenberg case over the years… The probe centers on how those agencies investigated and handled the 2011 death (initially ruled homicide, then changed to suicide), and whether any actions rose to the level of criminal corruption or related civil rights violations. ➡️ As far as we know they are still working to get to the bottom of the Ellen Greenberg botched investigation. ➡️ Jennifer Selber moved up the ladder with Shapiro and she is Governor Josh Shapiro’s Chief Council. In my opinion Shapiro should never have been Governor and should not be re-elected. ***NOTE: Tom Brennan has stated that there was an additional conflict of interest in Shapiro’s office.
