Every candidate for office should make it to a picketline. Talk to the workers! Ask about their strike. Walk the line!
Kaiser nurses and healthcare workers with @unacuhcp are still on strike and need our support! Put on your union drip and join a picket line near you!
Give it up one more time for @IATSE and all of our union members who made yesterday’s Super Bowl halftime performance possible.
It’s ALWAYS #BetterInAUnion 👏

Will Lewis’s exit is long overdue. His legacy will be the attempted destruction of a great American journalism institution. But it's not too late to save The Post. Jeff Bezos must immediately rescind these layoffs or sell the paper to someone willing to invest in its future.

The Trump admin's rule change is another maneuver straight out of the Project 2025 playbook to purge career federal workers and replace them with political loyalists.
The labor movement stands with federal workers. We’ll see you in court, President Trump. aflcio.org/press/releases/af…

Starbucks workers in Texas had their store close for 3 days due to extreme weather... but management told the workers that the storm wasn't bad enough for them to get pay.
This is against company policy. Once the store reopened, union workers said HELL NO and went on STRIKE!

Our labor movement could not exist without the work of Black union members and leaders.
During #BlackHistoryMonth and every month, America’s unions celebrate the elders and ancestors who came before us and those fighting now for racial justice in the workplace and beyond.

Today, thousands of union members gathered to rally and march peacefully to call for an end to the ICE escalation in our cities and states, unfortunately federal agents decided to respond with violence by releasing tear gas on union members, families, children, and pets in the middle of the day during a peaceful march.
“This is an attack on working people, and an attack on Oregon’s labor movement,” Oregon AFL-CIO President Graham Trainor said. “Deploying tear gas when union members, families, children, and pets came together to protest peacefully against ICE’s terrorization of immigrants and our communities in Oregon and across the country is an unacceptable escalation from federal agents. This is not okay.”
