Yes, multiple independent reports and videos document Ukrainian recruitment officers forcibly detaining draft-age men on streets and loading them into vans or buses for conscription, a practice called "busification." It arises from severe manpower shortages after years of war. Ukraine's human rights ombudsman has logged thousands of complaints about abuses. Zelensky has publicly called for ending the practice and reforming the system.

🔥 UNREAL… WWII symbol The Eagle’s Nest just went up in flames overnight & somebody has been detained.
It was built as a 50th birthday gift for Hitler in 1938 an insane engineering 6,000+feet up in the Bavarian Alps.
It was built straight into the mountains & has a Hairpin road… then a long tunnel into the rock leading to the famous brass elevators that carried guests straight to the top.
It had heated floors & the massive stone building took days to warm up at that altitude.
The huge marble fireplace was what GIs from the 101st and later visitors chipped pieces off it for souvenirs. Tourists loved visiting for its unrivaled views.
It was a symbol of German dominance during the was & then defeat when US troops took the place in 1945. It survived the war largely intact.
Now it may be gone… wonder who did this? I wonder if it has anything to do with the riots we have been seeing in Europe the past few weeks?

🇷🇺🇺🇦Bentley with Ukrainian plates was just filmed driving freely through the Leningrad street in Moscow.
Looks like Ukrainians have started fleeing to Russia to escape the chaos and kidnappings carried out by Zelensky's regime.

We pay these people to protect us, yet Burnham is effectively admitting he’s failing. This is what happens when paying benefits and publicity stunts take priority over doing the job. He must resign.

Maybe that £196m of taxpayers money lost since 2024 by Scottish National Investment Bank could have been used to support Scottish communities, Swinney?
Let's not even start on the £710m spent on two ferries.
Incompetent 🤡

The hypocrisy of the Scottish Government suddenly celebrating the Jackdaw gas field is breathtaking.
For years, Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP declared a climate emergency, campaigned aggressively against Cambo and Rosebank, and introduced an explicit “presumption against” new North Sea oil and gas exploration in their draft energy strategy.
Did she campaign against Cambo just to make the Scottish Government's celebration of North Sea gas drilling look more dramatic?
Or does Holyrood's moral crusade against fossil fuels magically dissolve into demanding tax cuts for Shell the second the Aberdeen vote starts slipping away?

This hurts to write (let’s call it tough love), but I believe that in full transparency, in advocating for EVs one must also acknowledge the downsides. My company leases a BYD Sealion (and other EV’s on the fleet) - on paper, it’s great value for money. A Chinese car @BYDCompany leased via @santanderuk But then we had an issue with a door harness - took the car to Hartwell Bracknell; they can’t fix the car - it’s been off the road 71 days chasing faults around the car. Santander don’t want to answer the phone (2.5hrs on hold today) and BYD are unhelpful with a car that has a seemly a catastrophic fault.
The cars a lemon (and frankly so are the leasing company and the dealer), the question really is, are all their cars lemons or is this a one-off?
Clearly BYD aren’t ready for scale in U.K. and don’t have the dealer back up you’d expect of a mass brand - so as much as I advocate for low cost EVs, my advice at least in the short term, is steer clear of the BYD! The same might be said of Santander leases and Hartwell dealers!
I will of course update you on any progress!

I mean probably not the best ‘I’m not a dictator’ defence.
Scotland’s First Minister has told a bus company boss to watch his language after he branded him a dictator over plans to bring the country’s bus network under public control.
