I'm SerBrator, known to share my honest and critical thoughts on games and I also stream them on the purple app. Here are my impressions on The Witcher 3 Remastered... I wanted to find out how much has actually changed. Does it simply look better, or does it feel better to play as well? After spending some time with it, there’s quite a bit to talk about. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is one of those rare games you don't just consume and move on from. You have to savor it and that means hundreds of hours of gameplay to finish the main game and its expansions. When it first released in 2015, it took the world by storm. I had played The Witcher 2 back in the day and I was already really hyped for the sequel to that. I remember watching this French TV channel: Game One and getting feeling excited every time Julien Tellouck brought up news of The Witcher 3 and how it would be open world. I've completed each game several times over since then. So I've been a fan of The Witcher for almost two decades now. And this Remastered version comes packed with new additions: Enhanced combat, improved traversal, new signs FX, Transmog, new finishers, refined animations, new quest tracking, path tracing, and more. As soon as you launch the game, you're instantly going to realize that going forward, this is the ultimate way to experience The Witcher 3. Path Traced lighting adds so much to the scene and to the fidelity of every object, armor, furniture, and so on. That said, The original Witcher 3 has held up incredibly well visually. For me, a huge part of that comes down to its colour palette. This world has a very particular atmosphere, and preserving that matters just as much as adding more detail so while playing The Remastered, I wanted to make sure that palette was still there mainly because the artistic identity of the original was perhaps the most important part about its visuals for me. It literally felt like a moving painting under the best conditions. Let's be honest, many games today simply add a Path Tracing or Ray Tracing or Lumen option and call it a day. That's not the case here thankfully. I think there's definitely a case of some scenes looking brighter than the previous versions but with everything at max settings, it honestly does look better overall but it might come down to personal preference... The marshes and bogs, especially, look so eerie now. Those environments already had a strong atmosphere, and the presentation makes them even more striking. Some of these scenes comfortably stand alongside the best-looking games I’ve played, including much newer titles, but yeah, previous versions looked really good too and will continue looking great. That said, I found it difficult to use Roach at full speed at times because I just wanted to sit back and look at the scenery when I wasn't chasing down NPCs to challenge them to a game of GWENT. Geralt also looks noticeably more detailed to me. In some shots, he almost looks like he’s stepped out of one of the CGI trailers. ❌That said, the improvements aren’t equally convincing everywhere. I think the main reason behind that is Path Traced hair and NVIDIA hairworks is not applied to every NPC and armor. I wish at least main NPCs had that option. Characters would look much better. Some NPCs especially did look much nicer thanks to Path Tracing and the new textures but hair, or certain objects, still look noticeably low poly. Personally, I'd love to see this level of hair rendering applied more broadly across the characters. I understand there would be a performance cost, but visually, it would help make the presentation feel more consistent but these are mere nitpicks because... Overall, the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Remastered looks so good that if it released this year as a new game, it would dominate the Game Awards and take every title, including best visuals. After this early look, I can safely say that this is not just Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Remastered, it's Witcher 3 Unleashed. This is the best way to play the game going forward. And I love how they respected the original game so much that it feels like this is probably one of the best REMASTERS.

I don't understand either. They admitted that Resynced sold better than expected and yet they let go of devs working at the Barcelona studio as well as other studios instead of letting them cook more updates. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is great but it still needs more work.

First two hours of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 4 are fantastic. Price's gameplay section made me feel like John Wick x Reacher. Then hour 2 made me stop playing to post this. 🇰🇵 Hour 1. Hour 2.
