These instructional videos by Cam are amazing!!!
During a gear 3 @SHREDmillSpeed rep, resist the urge to get “short+choppy”, or have the whole “fast feet” type of strides!  Gear 2 mechanics lay the foundation for power to be built, and then we want to maintain those “big shapes”, even as we spend less time on the ground, turnover a bit more and transition to max velocity! @Tony_Villani_ @SimpliFaster

Pick the phase and train hard un the weight room FOR SPEED. Sounds unbelievable. But is not.
The @SHREDmillSpeed truly allows you to train each phase of sprinting, whether it be start/early accel, mid accel/transition, or max v/top speed “maintenance”! While you can train each phase separately, I like to think of it like building blocks. The ability to accelerate lays the foundation for better transition skill, and the ability to effectively transition from acceleration to max velocity will allow an athlete to not only hit higher speeds, but maintain those higher speeds for longer periods of time! Here’s a video showcasing how the SHREDmill targets each of these phases of sprinting⚡️🚀

Our whole life was built off "What if?" Keep going and glad you are getting traction!!!
My exploration process begins with “what if…” What if the hamstring, that anatomically flexes the knee and EXTENDS the hip, can act as a Powerful Initiator of HIP FLEXION? AI told me no. But I’m a human being who can sense and feel and hypothesize, not just gather information, organize it and parrot it back. What do you think?

Love this. Our position? It is much easier than anyone thinks and ANYONE can do it effectively.
Load–velocity profiling in sprinting seems to be gaining interest. This is my position. What’s yours? 🤔

We always loved "Gear 3 Drops/Peaking" but @ZacGoodman_ did make an amazing suggestion for "Gear 2 Drops" also and we believed him also!!!

➡️Mixed LIGHT Gear 2 SHREDmill w/ max v sprints on the track (2 resisted, 2 unresisted, rinse & repeat) ⬇️Final week, Gear 2 Drops, followed by max v ⚡️ 📈In 4 weeks, Blake improved from 22.2 MPH to 23.4 MPH💨💨💨 💥PS- Got the idea for LIGHT gear 2 runs from @ZacGoodman_ 🤝

Prime to learn..but producing FORCE with shapes is key!
While mechanical drills, such as a wall drill, can play a role in improving an athlete’s positions by “feeling” and rehearsing, certain positions we want to hit during acceleration, they truly do not make an athlete FASTER, because the thing that actually helps propel them horizontally at high speeds is what happens on the ground! Movements such as sprints (normal+resisted), jumps/plyometrics, and obviously, good ole fashioned strength training, are a much better way to build a foundation for fast sprints, whereas mechanical drills can act as the icing on the cake when everything else is in place⚡️🚀

Explained better here ... Game Speed 101. Taking the best lessons ever taught from the best route runners EVER and applying it into simple drills that can be ASSESSED and ANALYZED in order to SPECIFY drills. – at Pine Ridge, FL
Months after marrying Taylor Swift, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is playing better than he has in years. It’s no coincidence. 🏈 on.wsj.com/47qEyfD

I had @WGF1 tell me at NatCon that this was a 100% impact tool. I got one based on that alone. Dan has never led me wrong. I wish I had 10 of these. I had a female athlete yesterday get a 5 jump RSI of 1.14 on force plates which was a PR. She did two sets of 10 in vest. Second set just sounded better. She hit 1.92 after. That is a story that repeats itself daily. I see people say the @SHREDmillSpeed isn’t an elite tool, this vest, RPR, altitude drops, some of the neuro tools people are using…I just laugh and think “don’t work for YOU” or you’ve never used them or used them correctly maybe…Ted Lasso said it best “be curious, not judgmental”. Not that hard and you may just learn something new! 100% recommended.
Weight vests. You can get the best of both if you want… But if you want to get faster fast (and feel better in the process and for having done so) — there is no comparison. It’s not about “belief”. It’s about RESULTS. Who else “believes” RESULTS RULE? Hopefully everyone. But as of yet - dogma and “my side is right” appears to rule over RESULTS. Just calling it like I see it.

Hemi Mack Trucks are powerful just sometimes take a while to get moving!
My wife literally just said “I liked your video but it was weird because it was like in slow motion…” No baby I am that slow 😂

These 2 shapes (from video below) have been the focus of Gear 2. 1) Straight line body angle 2) Foot strike under hip 3) Aggressive push back into knee punch If you do this with ANY resisted running, you will get faster. We feel as if our prodict just makes it easier.
In-Season SPEED training🏈 530 AM before school. That is COMMITMENT!💯👍🏼 @SHREDmillSpeed #TBKathletics #speedlab @universal_speed 🔥🔥 Gear 2 - 2 reps Gear 3 - 3 reps Force to Form
