#CurriculumSpotlight - CVNG 3031: Civil Engineering Materials Lab gives #SLUCivilEngineering students hands-on experience with metals and concrete. In this annual challenge, students design lightweight concrete bowling balls, bowl them, and test their material performance.

#CurriculumSpotlight - CVNG 3160: #SLUCivilEngineering students design, fabricate, and test steel plate girders each spring. This signature project is made possible through an industry collaboration with @AlbericiCorp's Hillsdale Fabricators.

Dr. Li joined the Department of Civil Engineering in 2024 after receiving his doctorate from the @umnCEGEtweets. His research focuses on artificial intelligence and machine learning, traffic modeling and control, sustainable urban transportation, and traffic safety.
#SLUCivilEgineering students receive a personalized hardhat each spring. Each hardhat has their name, anticipated graduation year, and respective home flags. Students earn #Billikens stickers for their accomplishments during their time at @SLU_Official
