But they also imported 100 million third worlders to undercut wage growth. In other words everything costs a lot more, but the earning power of young people has been knee capped on the altar of cheap labor.
So the grit and determination that got you through your 20's, allowed you to buy a house and have the security to start a family, doesn't work as well today as it did then.
