Under Special Campaign 6, students across schools in Odisha are driving awareness, collection and responsible disposal of e-waste, promoting the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
Through awareness activities, quizzes and safe handover of collected e-waste to authorised recyclers, schools are nurturing environmental responsibility among students.

ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ଗଣଶିକ୍ଷା ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୋମବାର ଜନ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଶୁଣାଣି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି । ବିଭାଗୀୟ କମିଶନର-ତଥା-ଶାସନ ସଚିବ, ଡା. ଏନ୍ ତିରୁମାଲା ନାଏକ ସମସ୍ତ ଅଭିଯୋଗଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଶୁଣାଣି କରି ଅଗ୍ରାଧିକାର ଭିତ୍ତିରେ ସମାଧାନ କରିବା ନେଇ ବିଭାଗୀୟ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।
As part of NILP–ULLAS (Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram), the Senior Citizens and Retired Employees Association of Bhawanipatna Block, Kalahandi, organised a literacy programme for the inmates of the District Jail at Bhawanipatna, promoting the spirit of lifelong learning and inclusive education.
Shri Balamukunda Bhuyan, Director, Directorate of Elementary Education, interacted with the inmates and distributed new books among the learners, encouraging them to embrace learning as a pathway to knowledge, confidence and personal growth.

ମାନ୍ୟବର ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ଗଣଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନିତ୍ୟାନନ୍ଦ ଗଣ୍ଡ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ କୃତୀ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ପୁରସ୍କୃତ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।

A 5-day Review Workshop on the Preparation of the Resource Person (RP) Training Course Module in English commenced at SILTT, Bhubaneswar, and will continue until 16 October 2026.
The workshop is being led by Dr. Umesh Prasad Pattanaik, with support from a team of experts, to strengthen the quality of the training module.
A 5-day Teacher Training Programme in English for Secondary School Teachers commenced at SILTT, Bhubaneswar, with the participation of 50 secondary teachers from Bhadrak district.

Shri Durga Prasad Mohapatra, Special Secretary, S&ME Department & District Nodal Officer, Sambalpur, conducted a two-day monitoring visit to PM SHRI schools on September 29–30, 2026.
The visit focused on key PM SHRI components, including ICT/Smart Classrooms, libraries, science & vocational labs, Green School initiatives, School Innovation Councils, Youth/Eco Clubs, skill development, career guidance, Bagless Days, student well-being and infrastructure.
On the occasion of ‘Seva Sankalpa Abhiyan – 2026’, District-level competitions were organised in Sonpur District by the Office of the District Education Officer.
Hackathon 3.0 – Odiapreneur
A celebration of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship, bringing together 192 students from 101 schools, supported by around 100 mentors.
From 969 ideas submitted, 749 were shortlisted for the district-level event, culminating in the State-Level Hackathon.
A collaborative initiative of the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, UNICEF Odisha and IIT Bhubaneswar Research & Entrepreneurship Park, Odiapreneur empowers young learners to identify real-life challenges and develop creative, practical and technology-enabled solutions.
