ALT upstream is far enough in dev that it's time to expand the QA team if interested: if you've never used git or docker before, that's fine, but you will need to use those things to QA upstream. you don't need to be an expert, just be able to comfortably follow step-by-step instructions in a command line terminal be aware that this is a very, very boring task. if you're thinking "i want to play v9 early!" and not "i want to generate a dozen unfinishable seeds and do repetitive tasks to find boss animations that are broken by a couple of pixels!" then it will not be fun for you, please do not feel obligated to sign up for things that are not fun if you don't have the time to commit to something like this, that's fine, no need to respond (it's an open call to the public, not a personal request to anyone in particular) if in spite of all of the above you think you'd like to do this, let me know and ty in advance! if you do end up QAing upstream you will be added to the in-game credits
ALT In the immediate term, we are also looking for more sprite artists! The feature allowing you to play as any of the 5 main character in the overworld is nearly complete, with just Mallow remaining. Our existing graphics team has quite a bit on their plates, so if you are comfortable working in SMRPG's sprite style and want to help fill in the missing frames that Mallow will need to be playable in the overworld (such as climbing vines, riding yoshi, playing blackjack, etc) please feel free to send me a friend request and a DM. Thank you for reading!
