We had a great time in our first cricket lesson. We practised throwing and catching before we had a go batting and fielding. A magnificent 6 was bowled and the ball lost over the fence! Lots of comments made by the class sharing their enjoyment. 🌟@ManorSalisbury

Today, in English we began planning our campaign against deforestation. We worked in campaign teams and had to discuss and decide on the issue for our campaign. @ManorSalisbury
It was another busy week in 4SJ. In English, we looked at 2 texts extracting facts about rainforests and deforestation. We’re really enjoying our persuasive text unit. In Math, we have continued learning about decimals and ended the week dividing them by 10. @ManorSalisbury

Our Club members are having an amazing day so far. They have been able to discuss a number of topics and are using their critical thinking skills to debate a very meaty question indeed. They are representing our school well. @ManorSalisbury
This morning, we debated the merits of having an orang-utan in our bedrooms. There were many arguments for but the majority were not convinced. @ManorSalisbury
