I can’t underscore how criminally insane this is, I love it
For 28 years, 69-year-old Rick Taylor has gathered tickets from Cal Ripken Jr.’s 2,632-game streak spanning 1982–1998. Now only eight away, the retired salesman’s 16-box basement collection — each ticket labeled and shielded — ranks among baseball’s most notable. Taylor never anticipated reaching single digits, yet he feels confident about finishing.

Reading is one of the best things you can do and costs like $20 for six hours, tops. In many cases it's free. The people who make it possible live in penury and the whole modern economy is organized against it.
“So like, this guy? Jaws? Have you seen this guy? He’s like, if someone bred a cornerback on the Saints with a lineman from fucking…New England. Just crazy teeth. Huge guy. Big guy. Killed him. I did, I killed him in like, Dubai. I was just like, BAM. One shot. Right in the face dude. All these Arab guys starin like, oh shit, was that Jaws? Jaws got shot by a…large infant from Alabama? You know? I was like, fuck yeah. 007. Why not. And we just looked at each other and I was all well, that’s it, and got in the car—real expensive car, it has like a cannon for some reason, you know? And I got the fuck outta there.”

I invested a lot of time into this piece…
No, this was meant to be a much longer analysis of what it takes to write a decent logline and I’m like, “just show the comparison and move on.” It should be easy to grasp.
Loglines are very repeatable and easy (and fun!) once you know the general template.
One of my fave articles we've ever published on @pipelineartists.
