Earlier this week, London Walking and Cycling Commissioner @willnorman visited @SurreySqSchool to see a #StreetsforPeople Fix-a-Bike session. Since 2023, we've funded @commcycleworks to bring these sessions to Southwark schools and so far nearly 2,500 pupils have learned about bike maintenance and repairs. Through #StreetsforPeople we are creating a network of safe and accessible streets and routes for all types of bicycles, ensuring we're a borough in which everyone who would like to cycle, can.

Busy day for @SSQYear6 taking part in the brilliant @commcycleworks ‘Fix a Bike’ workshops. Wonderful to have @willnorman @SouthwarkMayor and @mcash pop in to see it in action. Stay tuned to our website and socials to see what went down…(it wasn’t the tyres that’s for sure..)

Was great to have Mother Ellen + Imam Kazeem to SSq last week. Both shared how our core value of #responsibility is shown similarly in both of their religions. It’s really powerful having them here, giving the same message + modelling their friendship to the children.
