We will be going on a firefly adventure tonight! I saw my first fireflies here at this very spot, and haven’t seen them for 50 years! Looking forward to bringing back this excitement for our 6th graders! #SteaminthePark #ExpeditionsinEducation @dacia92 @Tonilscott_ed

STEAM activity today was to connect the learning from dragon fly larve collection with art.
Because Dragon flies rely on the water, I wrote the steps of the water cycle to outline the wings. #STEAMinthePARK @dacia92 @AMSEagles2022 @MammothCaveNP
Today, I started my STEAM in the park week @MammothCaveNP with @dacia92.

Spirit Lake cabin owners sign waivers & head into red zone. Items packed into pickups, burgers tossed on grill. USGS' David Johnston finishes fieldwork & takes over at Coldwater II. Everyone leaves at the end of the day. Johnston stays.

🎉 Thank you to @KatyBasch , Ms. Estes, and their students at Austin MS!
Great day at STEM Club. We did a walk of our bird houses and found 3 houses full of life! We also ran into a Killdeer momma protecting her nest. #AustinSTEM @amswalkersclass @AMSEagles2022 @pauldingboe
