At the Skittles STEM Day Station, students added different liquid solutions and observed what happened to the Skittles and their colorful coatings. They made predictions, observed changes, and explored how liquids can interact with materials. @cullmanprimary @BOECullmanCity
The KEVA Plank STEM station put students’ engineering skills to work! They designed & built bridges strong enough for cars & animals to safely cross over, then took on a little friendly competition to see who could build the tallest structure! @cullmanprimary @BOECullmanCity
Marshmallow Makerspace challenge had students designing, building, & creating with a simple STEM favorite—marshmallows! Students put their creativity, engineering, & problem-solving skills to work as they brought their ideas to life. @BOECullmanCity @cullmanprimary
The AgriPlex gave our students a taste of life on the farm! From exploring agriculture at Little Farmers to investigating plants and nutrition through the Kale Lab, students discovered how science connects to the food we grow and eat every day. @cullmanprimary @BOECullmanCity
💧🛢️ Today’s STEM station was all about oil and water! Students explored what happens when these two liquids meet, made predictions, and investigated why they don’t mix. A simple experiment with some fascinating science behind it! 🔬✨ @cullmanprimary @BOECullmanCity @eshaddix1
STEM fun with CPRST put students’ engineering skills to the test! Students used marshmallows and toothpicks to build the tallest towers, then designed & tested their own catapults. Creativity, teamwork, and a little friendly competition made for a fun day of STEM! @cullmanprimary
The floor is lava! Today, students designed and built structures to keep their bears safely above the “lava.” They used creativity, engineering, and problem-solving to test, improve, and protect their little bears! @cullmanprimary @BOECullmanCity
Osmosis Flowers STEM station brought osmosis to life! Students used paper flowers to observe how water moves, while also learning about the parts of real flowers and how plants use water to survive and grow. @BOECullmanCity @cullmanprimary
