Ever wonder what happens to drill core after it’s been logged and sampled? Once drilling is completed, core is carefully labelled, organized and stored in core shacks or core farms, creating a lasting physical record of the geology encountered below surface. Drill core is retained for the life of the project, which does not have a defined time limit. Regulations also protect the technical value of this geological record, requiring that drill core not be abandoned, discarded, destroyed or otherwise handled in a way that reduces its original technical value. Why preserve it? Historical core remains an important geological resource. Geologists can return to it to re-examine mineralization, verify previous observations, conduct additional sampling or testing, and apply new interpretations as geological knowledge and technology evolve. Core drilled today can continue providing valuable information well into the future — preserving an important geological record for future exploration and future generations. ⛏️

One of the biggest misconceptions about gold is that inflation goes up, so gold automatically goes up with it. It’s not always that simple. Inflation matters, but what can matter more is real interest rates — what investors are earning on interest-bearing assets after accounting for inflation. So even when oil is above $100, fuel prices are climbing and inflation is running hot, gold doesn’t necessarily move higher. The better question isn’t simply, “Is inflation rising?” It’s whether interest rates are keeping up with inflation — and what that means for the relative appeal of holding gold. 🪙 *This is not investment advice, please do your own research @davidlin_TV @nixsa84 Visit f.mtr.cool/1aavjkq3ke to learn more  $STLR.TO $STLRF $O9D

Gold isn’t just a hedge against the U.S. dollar. For governments and central banks, it can be a hedge against the broader risks that come with fiat currencies. As government spending and debt remain high, concerns around inflation, currency volatility and debasement continue to shape how reserves are managed. That’s part of the reason gold remains an important reserve asset — it provides diversification outside of traditional currencies. Bitcoin has also entered that conversation for some investors, offering another way to gain exposure outside the traditional monetary system. The bigger theme is **diversification**. When confidence in currencies is tested, alternatives like gold tend to get more attention. 🪙 *This is not investment advice, please do your own research @davidlin_TV @nixsa84 Visit f.mtr.cool/n90uvs67j9 to learn more  $STLR.TO $STLRF $O9D

Gold typically doesn’t love higher real yields. When bonds are paying more after inflation, there’s a real opportunity cost to holding an asset like gold that doesn’t pay interest. But this cycle has been different. Despite elevated real yields, gold has remained remarkably resilient — and the view here is that the long-term bull market is still intact. The call? Gold could ultimately reach $6,000–$7,000 an ounce before this cycle is over. Higher yields may create some bumps along the way, but they don’t necessarily change the bigger picture. 🪙 *This is not investment advice, please do your own research @davidlin_TV @steve_hanke $STLR.TO $STLRF $O9D
