Imagine it’s 1960 & ur going down the pub for a pint & a bag of crisps (and remember there’s only one flavour of crisps: plain) and a time traveller from 2024 arrives & takes you to the crisps aisle at any major supermarket, you would lose your mind 😋
Advert for Golden Wonder crisps from the 1960s - they cost “3D” (ie 3 pence) and the ad looks pretty basic as it’s in two colours and has a little line drawing of a man eating crisps. Admittedly he has a big smile on his face and he looks like he’s enjoying the ready salted crisps. Living his best life to be fair. “The crispiest crisps” it says. Fuck yeah. It might be 60 years ago but at least these dudes knew the value of a decent crisp. Legends imo. FREE PALESTINE.

Feels like we're the last people left in London today, but we will be opening our taproom as usual this afternoon 2-8pm, so if you are in the area, come over for a pint or pick up some bottles/minikegs to takeaway. We're not open this Sunday or Monday - we need some time off too!
