I think it depends on whether you want DT members to be people who want to be DT members or you just want a big number of members.

As I understand it you can opt out but no discount.
It’s a bit Peter to Paul - iirc the Club pays the DT a portion of each ST. In tha way it’s almost a compulsory purchase I guess. Would people prefer a cheaper ST and then opt in? I’d suggest many would (but others suggest not)

Well that’s another question, if season ticket holders are getting it free with nothing added on how is that fair? If there is an added charge in the season ticket can that be opted out of and the money saved? I get my boys ST but under 16 they don’t get full DT membership.

Tbh if it wasn’t included with a ST I’d have personally saved the money this year. Tough times and all that.

I must admit for the first time I’ve thought of not bothering, I got my wife to start joining too even tho she cares nothing about football, £25 was a throw away gesture, now I’m not even sure I’ll renew never mind her.

My point exactly. We're paying more money for less impact, less control and on the verge of losing any sense of fan ownership. If that's what the majority want that's fine but I'm struggling with the thought of joining the race to the bottom.

I’m not really talking like for like. If it goes up it has to mean something more imho

I like the idea of a sort of DD to buy shares. Tbh we always billed it as ‘owners’ then suddenly ‘members’. Owners who get cut of future sales might get people interested?

I think that a decent sized group paying around a tenner a month could fund the operating deficit. I'm not sure if offering equity and a share value as such could make it more attractive but I think a different model is required. It may something separate to the DT entirely.

I can’t decide whether I’d lower the cost (£60 feels like one of those things people forgo when times are tight) or raise the cost and make it mean a bit more, like you say. Be an interesting one to research I reckon

I think we have to see how the vote goes but I think the DT in general needs a rethink. Membership given away for free, people generally not engaged - it's no good right now. I would up the cost and possibly include genuine equity in the club, make it properly fan owned.

Must admit this was a new one on me:
Replying to @MisterGLS
Championship clubs (non-parachute) currently receive around £10.5-11m in central funding per season (EFL basic award plus Premier League solidarity).
League One clubs get about £2m.
Promotion would therefore bring AFC Wimbledon roughly £8.5-9m extra in guaranteed central money alone. Figures are for the existing deal; a possible New Deal could raise them further but remains unsigned.

Tbf I recently found out how much extra revenue you get in the championship so that £13m becomes £20 without blinking

I think this is the absolute most important question, ultimately this is around how the DTB manage the money and expectations of SSC and that is for the DTB to answer not SSC.
SWSG-Southern Wombles Supporters Group retweeted
What's holding me back from saying yes isn't a matter of transparency.
I'm not interested in who the people behind SSC are.
I'm interested in ensuring that they or people they eventually sell on to aren't able to destroy 24 years of work

Do you know these guys?
Personally I could probably spend an evening (or more) chatting it through, but wouldn’t want to dominate their time. Everything from numbers to written commitments to exit plan.
Have dropped a few Qs to DTB - not sure what the timeline is on those

Burning question, I'd really appreciate feedback from as many as poss, plz forward to any naysayers
If you could ask him, which matters do you need more transparency from Hugh on, in order to vote yes?
