Ilhan's supporters are shifting from "she's innocent" to "she was always a victim."
This is progress. Five stages of grief.
This is the angle no one wants to state about Ms. Omar:
I honestly believe it to be true.
As a woman, as a woman of an extremely patriarchal society, where she was married at a very young age, She had a miscarriage if I understand also, She didn’t have a lot of choice.
She was picked to play a role.
She was picked to tell a story.
She was picked to fundraise.
She was picked to network.
I HATE the cruel ways that she is treated by so many right of center. I hate it. I also HATE how she has been singled out. There are so many who would fall if she were allowed to tell the truth about it all. So many.
This is speculation, but my guess is she had a plan to escape it all- a very “take the money and run” “sleeping with the enemy” type thing.
Her handlers were both her task masters and her protectors, and that protection is gone.
I do not celebrate harm to Ms. Omar and I detest how DJT has spoken of her.
I pray for Ilhan and I also pray for Truth.
If you think she acted alone in this whole charade I have real estate in the Bermuda Triangle I’d like to sell you.
There is no telling what the future holds but this seems very different.

🚨As numerous federal investigations into Ilhan Omar’s immigration and financial history continue, the congresswoman has just made her first public appearance in nearly four weeks (since September 22) to solicit financial contributions from supporters.
Based on buildings visible through a window in recently released footage of Ilhan Omar, online investigators have traced her location to the “Somali American Community Outreach and Consultancy Center” in Minneapolis.
The organization, which advertises 24-hour operations seven days a week, maintains a notably vague and seemingly incomplete website, as if it was hastily assembled and left unfinished.
The website identifies no owner, director, or other organizational leadership. The only specific service advertised is “consultancy,” with no substantive explanation of what services are provided.
Furthermore, the organization’s listed address corresponds to the Brian Coyle Neighborhood Center, an entirely different and seemingly unrelated organization.
The group also advertises a nationwide membership network, an extensive calendar of social events, professional speakers, and charitable initiatives. However, its website provides no corresponding event calendar, membership directory, or any supporting documentation whatsoever.

I'll just say it. I'm predicting the absolute worst for our Midterms. We'll all go out in record numbers to vote Blue, which we absolutely need to do, but Trump and his GOP goons will do everything humanly possible to prevent, rig, and/or otherwise disrupt the election. They know there's no possible way for them to win without cheating. That's how they attained power in the first place. They have far too much to lose if Dems gain control of Congress. They will all go to prison. They won't willingly cede power. Even if the Blue Psunami works, they'll refuse to certify the votes, which might involve another J6th. Now, they have the full force of the government and military on their side. I've been right about almost everything with respect to these fascists over the past 10 years. I'd really like to be wrong.

Of course, we are not losing this war. But we are losing people. Because of the Russian attacks, we're losing people and time. It's such a pity, because our children don't have a real life and childhood. Not only children, but all people. That's why we need to end this war as quickly as possible. I was torn between McMorrow and Abdul, but when the Wedgewood poll came out showing McMorrow down to single digits, she lost all momentum and dropped out, so I supported and voted for Abdul.
The poll was fake. Wedgewood also committed wire fraud, receiving over $10,000 in donations for polling that they weren’t conducting.
Wedgewood polls undoubtedly altered the primary outcome, and cost Haley Stevens the race, and sabotaged the McMorrow campaign. The polling industry is fundamentally broken and the people behind Wedgewood polls (we know who you are) should be prosecuted and thrown in prison.
As one of the candidates featured in these polls - the infamous one in late June that showed me plummeting into single digits (which was at odds with our internals) - here's the impact of this "experiment"
- Donations dried up
- Volunteers were devastated and pleading for guidance on what to do
- Reporters hounded me with calls to drop out
Sure, a point was proven. Polling is broken. But tens of thousands of people poured their hearts, time, energy, hard-earned money into something they believed in - for a year-and-a-half, and it was treated like a game. Our volunteers gave their all. And then some. I felt like I had let so many of them down.
To be extremely clear, Michigan Democrats are locked in to beat Mike Rogers. We WILL send @AbdulElSayed to the US Senate.
But between crap like this, endless fundraising texts that drive supporters away with spammy fake deadlines and trash "match" claims, scam PACs run rampant for firms to grift without actually supporting candidates, undisclosed content creators pushing content out either misrepresenting themselves as residents of states they don't live in or hiding whether they were paid and by who so they could make a buck, and the tidal wave of dark money ads -- I hope Democrats are ready to blow up the system with campaign finance and transparency reforms.
Trust is already at an all-time low. We don't get out of this mess without rebuilding trust.
And media - who loves to ride the drama of a pollercoaster - needs to take a hard look at what's legitimate and what's not.
If this teaches us anything - DON'T GET COMPLACENT AND DON'T TRUST THE POLLS.
