Why Are They Fighting Islam?
Between 2010 and 2020, Muslims were the world’s fastest-growing major religious group. Their share of the global population rose from 23.9% to 25.6% an increase of 1.8 percentage points. Yet Christians remained the largest group, at 28.8% of the world’s population in 2020.
What explains the growth? Pew Research Center says it was largely driven by Muslims’ relatively young population and higher fertility not evidence of a global campaign or mass conversion. And this chart, on its own, cannot tell us who is “fighting Islam” or why.
So the numbers invite a serious question, but not a simple accusation: **Are people reacting to Islam itself, or to politics, conflict and fear surrounding it?** Whatever the answer, demographic change should be discussed with facts and without treating ordinary Muslims as responsible for every political conflict.

The Only Woman Named in the Quran: A Legacy of Faith and Honor
Introduction
While the Quran honors many noble and righteous women describing them through their vital roles as mothers, wives, sisters, and leaders only one woman is explicitly called by her name: Maryam (Mary), the mother of Jesus (peace be upon them both). Her name graces the Quran more than thirty times, and an entire chapter Surah Maryam (Chapter 19) is proudly named in her honor.
Her profound story, unwavering devotion, and total submission to the will of God establish her as a timeless example of faith for all generations.
What aspects of Maryam's story or her unique status in scripture stood out to you the most?
