Red Cat tests drone integrations with Palantir, Safe Pro, and others 🛡️🦾🌟
@OndasHoldings Partner @PalantirTech 🔄💡✔️
July 29, 2026
Red Cat Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: RCAT) held a technology validation event in Salt Lake City, testing integrations from several industry partners on its Black Widow and Teal 2 drone systems, according to a press release from the company.
The event was organized through SPiDRWORX, Red Cat's internal innovation group based in Spring Lake, North Carolina. Five partner companies participated in the testing.
Hoverfly Technologies validated its NEXUS tethered unmanned system as a communications relay with Black Widow, extending the drone's network range. Safe Pro Group's AI-enabled threat detection software was evaluated using Black Widow-collected imagery for identifying hazards and suspicious objects. Palantir's vision-based navigation technology was tested with Black Widow in simulated GPS-denied conditions. Vigilare AI's TitanOps technology was validated on Teal 2, demonstrating voice and text command capabilities and operator workload reduction features. Reveal Technology conducted repeatability testing around imagery, photogrammetry, and 3D mapping workflows, and collaborated with Safe Pro Group on combined mapping and threat detection use cases.
"SPiDRWORX exists to move promising technology from idea to validated capability," said Jason Gunter, Vice President of Technology and Innovation at Red Cat. "The goal is not innovation for innovation's sake. The goal is giving users more effective tools at the tactical edge."
Red Cat stated it plans to continue holding validation events and expanding its Family of Systems for defense, government, and public safety customers.

AI-powered drone platform to help demine Ukrainian farmlands
Artificial intelligence is aiming to drastically reduce the time and costs of manually surveying Ukrainian farmland potentially contaminated by landmines and unexploded ordnance.
The relevant project will be implemented by Ukraine’s agriholding Nibulon jointly with U.S.-based Safe Pro Group, provider of an AI-powered drone demining ecosystem, BusinessWire reports.
The American operator specializing in drone imagery processing, said it has entered into a multi-year Memorandum of Understanding with Nibulon on addressing Ukraine’s agriculture crisis which has sustained billions in damages and losses due to the ongoing war

Safe Pro Group, $SPAI a company using AI to literally sniff out explosives from drone images (talk about a high-stakes game of "Where's Waldo?"), just got a big thumbs-up from the US Patent Office.
They've received a Notice of Allowance for 21 claims related to their tech, SpotlightAI™.
Now, if this patent gets approved (fingers crossed!), it means Safe Pro Group gets to be the big dog in the mine-clearing game, at least until 2043.
Why's that important?
Because their tech is a game-changer.
Here's the deal: SpotlightAI™ uses fancy machine learning algorithms to analyze drone images – think of it like having an army of robot detectives, but instead of donuts, they crave data.
This tech can spot landmines and other unexploded goodies with crazy accuracy.
They've even teamed up with the UN in Ukraine to put it to the test in the real world.
And get this, @SafeProGroupCo isn't stopping at just minefields.
They're eyeing up other security applications like protecting infrastructure and giving law enforcement a helping hand.
It's a good reminder that while most of us are glued to our phones watching cat videos, some people are out there using tech to actually make the world a safer place.
