‘SNP MP and Green MSP accused of plotting social media stunt by Israel’

THE DAY FACEBOOK SIDED WITH THE RAPE GANG COVER-UP
On 30 October I posted a headline about the Telford inquiry over photographs of two politicians. The inquiry found that more than 1,000 children in that town were raped. Not only had the politicians let it happen, the man at the top of the council, Sean Davies, was promoted to MP and is now a Labour whip in parliament.
I must have touched a nerve.
Facebook took one look at the contents of my post alongside a picture of two Labour Party politicians in suits and decided it was in violation of their policy on child sexual exploitation. They removed the post and the accompanying picture. Facebook has now stopped recommending me to anyone. I estimate it has throttled my account for at least a year.
So let us be clear about what Facebook has done.
The men who raped those children were never prosecuted. The public officials, politicians and police officers who covered for them have never been held to account. Instead, Facebook has punished the man who is campaigning to hold these people to account for sharing how powerful people were involved in the cover up.
This is not the first time Facebook has censored my voice.
Each time previously I have experienced this has been when powerful people attempted to prevent the truth from coming out at key moments. Just as now, there is a truth in Telford, that when it does come out, will expose the Labour Party in a way it has yet to do so. Yes, despite everything that has already come out, the truth of Telford is worse.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP
Over nine million people engaged with my Facebook Page last month. That is more than every other platform I am on put together, three times over. Losing it, in the middle of the national inquiry, is the biggest blow this campaign has taken.
But tens of thousands of you read me here. The same post went out on X as on Facebook. The only thing missing here is the reach, and reach is the one thing Facebook cannot take from you.
So this is what I am asking. Share this post. Send it to the people who followed me on Facebook and tell them to follow me here and sign up to my newsletter where I publish everything.

Give it a rest.
Canadians want affordable groceries.
They want to be able to pay rent.
They want to feel safe.
This alliance won’t accomplish any of that.
You’ll get richer.
Canadians will get poorer.
And immigrants will flood into Canada.
You’re an embarrassment and an imposter.

🔥A walker fell into a hornets' nest down a steep bank in Cumbria. The rescuers had no mobile signal, but Starlink got the call through, and the walker is safe.

Empires rarely fall because the enemy is strong. They fall because the centre loses the will to remain the centre. Rome, the Ottomans, Britain, even ancient Egypt all followed the same pattern: legitimacy erodes, solvency strains, enforcement becomes hesitant - and only then does the external blow become fatal.
That is why history is a useful lens right now. People talk about Iran as if it were the great civilisational rival of the West, but Iran looks far more like late-stage regimes that collapse suddenly once pressure is applied. Its economy is brittle, its population openly disillusioned, and its regional network depends on proxies rather than real cohesion. States like that can fall in a strike, a revolution, or a financial shock. Paper tigers often do. Real empires don’t die that way. They die slowly, from inside.
What makes the current moment unusual is that the pressure on the West is not mainly military. It is psychological, institutional, and cultural - much closer to what the Soviets called “active measures”, the deliberate use of propaganda, front organizations, and influence campaigns to fracture confidence inside rival societies rather than defeat them on the battlefield.
Look at where the pressure is applied. First, legitimacy. Every declining empire begins to doubt its own right to exist. In late Rome, the civic elite stopped believing in the system they were supposed to sustain. In the late Ottoman world, the idea of a shared imperial identity dissolved before the borders did. Today, Western societies are pushed relentlessly to describe themselves as uniquely illegitimate - colonial, racist, oppressive by definition - while movements that are openly sectarian or authoritarian are reframed as resistance. That shift does not require tanks. It only requires control of narrative space, and modern soft-power states understand this very well. Qatar, for example, has invested billions in global media and education networks and is the largest disclosed foreign funder of U.S. universities, a strategy widely described as an exercise in state soft power.
Second, solvency - not just money, but the elite layer that decides what is respectable. Empires function because administrators, academics, journalists, and donors reproduce the story that the system makes sense. When that layer becomes dependent on outside funding or ideological pressure, the tone of the civilisation changes long before its borders do. Even critics who disagree about the scale of influence acknowledge that foreign funding, especially from Gulf states, has become large enough to raise questions about incentives and intellectual independence in Western institutions. That is exactly the kind of slow internal shift that weakened past empires: not defeat, but loss of confidence.
Third, coercion - or more precisely, the willingness to use it. Egypt fragmented when central authority could no longer enforce unity. Rome’s frontiers failed when the state could not reliably mobilise, pay, and command. Britain did not lose its empire in a single war; it reached the point where maintaining order abroad felt politically and morally impossible at home. Modern influence campaigns aim at the same pressure point. Make borders look immoral, make enforcement look shameful, make self-defence look like aggression, and a powerful state begins to hesitate. Once hesitation becomes habit, decline accelerates.
This is why the obsession with dramatic enemies can be misleading. Iran may threaten, arm proxies, and shout slogans, but regimes like that usually fall when struck because they are hollow at the core. The real danger to a civilisation is not the opponent that wants to destroy it. It is the moment the civilisation starts to believe the opponent might be right.
History is very consistent on this. Empires survive external enemies for centuries. What they do not survive is losing the belief that they deserve to survive at all.
