Listening and agreeing are two different things.
What's one question you ask when you're trying to understand someone whose perspective differs from yours?

Christian unity does not mean that we will agree on every policy, candidate, or political strategy.

Caring for immigrants is a good thing— a Christian thing even.
Let’s always remember that immigrants are made in the image of God, even the ones we don’t know, and we can speak of them as those worthy of dignity and respect.

John Dickson told me evangelism starts with conviction about who Christ is: "It seems to me the thing that inspires evangelistic activity and zeal is a fresh vision of Christ's majesty over all things." Join us as we talk about revival.

We should be able to engage in serious disagreement while remaining committed to truth, humility, and the dignity of those with whom we disagree.
That is all to say that, though I was never awed by his preaching, I deeply miss the personhood and spiritual walk of Billy Graham. He was a grounding presence in the American church in his day. I'd love to see another like him one day.
Fundamentalism WAS Evangelical when it was centered on the "fundamentals", but became a different beast when they accepted the new fundamentals of being: separatist ("us vs. them"), skeptical of academics, fiercely dogmatic, & prone to breaking fellowship over secondary issues.
Evangelicalism stands on the 4 pillars of 1. the Bible as ultimate authority, 2. the Cross as the center of our faith, 3. individual need to be "born again", & 4. an active call to walk out our faith through evangelism, missions, & social reform. It is unique from fundamentalism.

The Greatest Show on Earth...
It's being described as many things,
It's #U2.
Across genres it's a song that can only be made by them.
Just let it be, It took 50 yrs to get here.
And it delivered.
Yes, it's overwhelming.
It's not imaginary.
You call it lies/I call it art.
So, @Thunderfulgames & @sadcatstudios (@atari, too); REPLACED sure does look like perfect game for the Switch and Switch 2. Just sayin'. Looking at it, I would've assumed it had been developed for those consoles first, honestly. It's got Switch vibes. *nudgenudge *winkwink

Evangelical Christianity in the United States is often characterized by a deep desire to have “Christianity” pervade our culture but not have Christ permeate our being.

Imagine the lights going down, tens of thousands of voices rising, and U2 walking onto a stadium stage together again. 'The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour' begins February 23, 2027, in Mexico City, with Beck opening. zurl.co/frfn6
There's a huge @atari sale for the Switch (& 2), & it's a good one! Let me recommend: Bubsy 4D, Atari 50 (with all DLCs), Wizordum, Tempest 4000, Adventure of Samsara, I Robot, Missile Command Delta, & Mr Run and Jump. I've ha hours of fun with each!
I was skeptical, but from what I'm seeing/hearing, the new (uh, "renewed"?) 800xl from @atari actually looks really awesome!
