But that's not going to get the job done. And comments about taking my medical license away from the man who doesn't know how to pronounce 'acetaminophen.' I'm not going to take that seriously."
Today I voted in the 2026 election. I voted straight Democrat down the ticket except for two offices that didn’t have Democratic candidates, so I wrote myself in.
We’re at a point in this country where this election will help decide whether we move toward success or decline. It’s up to us which one it is. I hope and pray it isn’t the latter, but that only happens if people actually vote.
Make a plan and vote early if you can, or show up on November 3. Make your voice heard.

Look - it isn't my thing but Iowa is facing a budget crisis to the tune of $1.4 billion.
A common-sense way to help address that would be to fully legalize adult-use cannabis in Iowa. And to solve the problems that come with it - we treat it like alcohol.
