James Ward-Prowse shares what it means to be back at #SaintsFC ❤️
🗣️ #SaintsFC’s James Ward-Prowse on today’s win at West Ham:
"We've got an unbelievable manager who has instilled such belief in us.
"The first message of the week was, 'We are going to win this game.'"

Daniel Peretz is back at his very best for #SaintsFC since the international break 👏🧤
Tonda Eckert on Daniel Peretz’s performance for #SaintsFC:
"When you come here, I think you always need a goalkeeper who is on top of his game. That's a reality. You can defend a lot as a team, but in the end you also need someone between the posts, and I think Daniel was very good today."

Tonda Eckert on Flynn Downes & Cyle Larin being absent for #SaintsFC today:
"We were pushing for this game. I was quite hopeful for them to be involved for today & it was a late call for them not to. Flynn even got another injection this week, so I'm quite positive that they'll be involved next week."

Tonda Eckert on Lewis Dobbin: “Very much [pleased for him to score his first goal]. He worked so hard for the team. I think there were quite a few actions where he gave us a lot on the ball today. Very happy for him.” #saintsfc [bbc]
Tonda Eckert: “I think Prowsey in the last 10-15 minutes was playing with cramps. But [had] so much dedication and passion to bring that game over the line.” #saintsfc [bbc]
Tonda Eckert: “A big one today, it’s not an easy place to come to. A very good team that we were facing. I think it was important to start strong and we talked about this all week. We suffered when we had to suffer, a proper team performance.” #saintsfc [bbc]
Jack Stephen’s on Bree’s goal: “It’s just James Bree, ain’t it? He’s just a legend, I love him. He’s so solid, so reliable and he just pops up with these goals. He scores worldies.” #saintsfc [bbc]
Jack Stephens: “They’re a big club in the division, started really well. I think we wanted to lay a marker down today and we spoke about that during the week. I think you could see how much we wanted to do that.” #saintsfc [bbc]
If Cyle Larin is unavailable, who should start for #SaintsFC at West Ham tomorrow? 💭
🚨 #SaintsFC sporting director Johannes Spors on extending Tonda Eckert’s contract:
"It is in discussion, yes. Tonda and I speak every day, and I've known his agents for a long time.
"I'm very positive about that. We are looking into the future with the same eyes, and that makes me feel very positive that there will be a good solution.
"But because of that, we are not in a rush. We take this step by step. We started, and we will continue to talk about this in a very positive way.
"There's also a lot of focus on games, right? So it's nothing that will happen tomorrow, but it will happen at the right time."
