از دیدار با فرانسوا بلامی، نایب‌رئیس فراکسیون حزب مردم اروپا، خرسند شدم. تعهد جدی او به یاری رساندن به مردم ایران در مبارزه برای بازپس‌گیری کشورمان از جمهوری اسلامی و برپایی دموکراسی پایدار، برایم بسیار دلگرم‌کننده بود.
فردا در یک نشست خبری مشترک در پارلمان اروپا، درباره ضرورت اقدام اروپا و گام‌هایی که می‌تواند بردارد، گفت‌وگو خواهیم کرد.

Today in Brussels, I met with General Christophe Gomart, Vice-Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Security and Defence.
I thanked him for his steadfast support for the Iranian people’s struggle against the Islamic Republic, and for his deep respect for Iran’s civilization.
We discussed practical means of support, including keeping Iranians connected to the internet. I welcome his commitment to working with us to advance the Iranian people’s cause at the European level.
